After growing up in North Dakota, Chloe moved to Arizona to attend grad school. She discovered grad school was not for her, but the beautiful landscapes of the southwest were. Chloe’s first steps into conservation work were through Arizona Conservation Corps, first as a crew member and then returning for a second season as a crew lead. This past summer she worked as an intern with the forest service in the Gunnison National Forest in Colorado.   Despite the breathtaking Rocky Mountain vistas, she found herself missing Arizona and is excited to return and join Wild AZ.   When not on hitch, Chloe can usually be found hanging out with the horses at a local riding stable where she’s a volunteer and student. Her other hobbies include finding cool spots to eat ramen or getting lost in a good book.
